Spanish Mental Health Interviews: Transcripts with PHQ-9 and GAD-7 Scores

Anonymized transcripts of semi-structured interviews in Spanish with 158 university students in Colombia, paired with each participant's PHQ-9 (depression) and GAD-7 (anxiety) total scores: 544 transcribed responses, 81,840 words. A virtual interviewer asked the same pre-recorded questions about mood, anxiety and worry, and sleep, appetite and energy. Sessions took place between March and May 2026. The record contains the text channel only; no audio or video is included. Transcripts were produced with Whisper large-v3 and all of them were reviewed against the audio by members of the research team. Names, places and institutions were replaced with tags in a process in which a language model only proposed replacements and a person approved or rejected each one. The scores are self-reported screening totals, not clinical diagnoses.
