This repository holds data produced with support from the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades of the Spanish Government, through award PID2020-118028GB-I00, for a project titled Elucidating relationships of adaptation to extreme soil and climate with RAD sequencing. The data come from genomic and ecological analysis of three plant species that facultatively occur on serpentine soil outcrops in southeastern Spain, Lavandula stoechas L., Halimium atriplicifolium (Lam) Spach. subsp. atriciplicifolium, and Phlomis purpurea L. Raw ddRADseq data for these three species can be found under NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA) Bioproject number PRJNA1338063 after the embargo date, which is currently 30.04.2026. Sample-specific metadata, including specific leaf area, are found in a .txt file here, along with a readme.txt that describes the variables. The following tarballs contain the VCF files that were reported in the following pre-print: https://doi.org/10.1101/2025.11.04.686350 : halimium_ms1_zenodo.tar.gz, lavandula_ms1_zenodo.tar.gz, and phlomis_ms1_zenodo.tar.gz. Files of raw, unfiltered SNPs as produced by the STACKS pipeline are available, along with the maps of samples to populations, and are in the tarballs halimium_vcf.tar.gz, lavandula_vcf.tar.gz, and phlomis_vcf.tar.gz. The filters applied in the course of the analyses are described in pre-prints and (eventually) publications. Data for climate and soil characteristics are available in the file edaphic_climate_data_csv.tar.gz. There are separate files for sites with climate data and sites in analyses dealing with soil. Additional site-specific data on climate (WorldClim) for any sites (populations) that lack them can be obtained using the coordinates of the sites and climate layers that are available from WorldClim. This preprint is the current citable document for these data, and should be cited if the data are used in any way.
