Supporting data and software for publication: Effects of surface contact mode on fluid flow through 3D rough-walled rock fractures with contact areas
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains an introduction of the open source code used in this work to simulated the fluid flow through 3D rough-walled fractures, and the corresponding 6 simulated and supplementary results (.txt files) of fluid flow through 3D rough-walled fractures with different geometry properties. By using the open source code (Palabos) with Codeblocks, a series of the values of parameters those used to evaluate the fluid flow behavior are listed in the .txt files, including average X velocity, average velocity, LBM permeability, and tortuosity. On this basis, combining with the fracture geometry properties (e.g., fractal dimension, aperture, contact ratios), the influence of fracture surface roughness and contact on hydrodynamic transport would be capatured and analyzed. The main nomenclature description in .txt files: D--fractal dimension H--fracture aperture Ar--contact ratio c--anisotropy factor A σδ--mean square root of aperture tr--tortuosity from surface roughness
