资源简介:
ANUpoll is a survey of Australian public opinion. The topic of each survey is an issue of national importance. The ANUpoll differs from other opinion polls by placing public opinion in a broad policy context, and by benchmarking Australia against international opinion. The ANUpoll is also able to follow trends in opinions over many decades. ANU Polls are typically conducted three times a year, or about every four months. This dataset is a combined file of ANUpolls datasets with time series variables only. Some questions have appeared in every poll in order to provide information about changes in opinion over time. ANU Polls data from March 2008 to December 2015 are included in the dataset. Paradata on the interviewers of the Social Research Centre, the data collector, are also added. The standard ANU Poll questions cover issues such as the most important problems in Australia and demographic characteristics of the sample. Demographic and background variables include gender, age, household composition, country of birth, highest level of education, employment status and income. This research is used to monitor changes in public opinion over time, as well as to enable methodological research on the interviewer effect.
