The structure, composition and status of the gut microbiota are closely related to host health. The mouse is one of the most commonly used animal models for gut microbiology research. In this study, 4 biological samples consisting of feces from 12 SPF mice were metagenome sequenced using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 with PE150 sequencing pattern. Each biosample contained 9 faeces, consisting of a mixture of 3 faeces from each of 3 female or male mice in the same cage. This data is a pre-publication release.
