PROBA-V

We collected satellite data from 74 manually selected regions across the globe at different time points from the European Space Agency’s (ESA) PROBA-V mission. The data consists of radiometrically and geometrically corrected Top-of-Atmosphere (TOA) reflectance from the red and Near-Infrared (NIR) spectral bands at 300m and 100m resolutions under the Plate Carrée projection. The 300m resolution data is delivered as 128×128 grayscale pixel images, while the 100m resolution data is delivered as 384×384 grayscale pixel images. The images have a bit depth of 14, but they are stored in 16-bit PNG format, which appears relatively dark when opened in typical image viewers.
