THE IMPORTANCE OF DESIGN THEORY IN PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION

This article analyzes the importance of design theory in the system of pedagogical education. The role of design theory in developing the professional competencies of future teachers, as well as in shaping their creative thinking, aesthetic taste, and visual culture, is highlighted. The study also examines the main trends in modern design education, including interdisciplinary integration, project-based learning, and the use of innovative technologies. The research concludes that design theory is one of the key factors in improving the effectiveness of pedagogical education.
