The main file serves to replicate the analysis and supplementary materials presented in the paper Rodríguez Sánchez, A., Wucherpfennig, J., Rischke, R., & Iacus, S. M. (2023). Search-and-rescue in the Central Mediterranean Route does not induce migration: Predictive modeling to answer causal queries in migration research. Scientific Reports, 13(1), 11014. Some of the code uses an additional analysis of recounting of deaths, but these were not used in the paper.
