Bacterial diversity among the fruitbodies of macro-fungi and their corresponding hyphosphere soils. 410658 and 483425

Macro-fungi play important roles in the soil element cycle to maintain the ecological balance of terrestrial ecosystems. Lots of researches have focused on the interactions between mycorrhizal fungi and specific host plants, whilst comparatively few studies have aimed to characterize the relationships between macro-fungi and bacteria in situ. In current study, we detected endophytic bacteria within the fruitbodies of ectomycorrhizal fungi and saprophytic fungi using high-throughput sequencing technology and evaluated bacterial diversity in the corresponding hyphosphere soils below the fruitbodies. This study will be of great significance for further understanding of the relationship between macro-fungi and bacteria.
