This study was conducted by the Cognitive Communication Science Lab (https://cogcommscience.com/; PI: Richard Huskey). This study was funded by a Miller Research Award from the School of Communication at The Ohio State University. This study aims to understand the brain-basis and brain-network dynamics of flow experiences. We designed a naturalistic video game playing paradigm (https://github.com/cogcommscience-lab/asteroid_impact), and induced three different experimental conditions: flow, boredom, frustration.
