Cell-intrinsic Innate Immune Responses against Chikungunya Virus in a Human Ex Vivo Synovial Fibroblast Model [scRNA-seq]

Single-cell RNAseq dataset on CHIKV-infected fibroblasts. Overall conclusions: Strong induction of innate immune responses, depending on the amount of viral RNA in the cells we found an antagonism against transcription factors such as STAT1 and JAK1. Human primary synovial fibroblasts were infected with CHIKV at different MOIs and at 6 and 24 hours post infected subjected to single-cell RNAseq. In total, 12 samples were analyzed. From two different donors, for each timepoint two infected samples and one mock-infected sample were analyzed.
