In order to understand the molecular consequences associated with acute T cell infiltration into melanoma tissues, we treated mice bearing established B16F1 melanomas with adoptive cell transfer of gp100-eptiope specific pmel-1 T cell receptor (TCR)-transgenic Cd8+ T cells. Ten days after adoptive transfer (ACT) of pmel-1 T cells, melanoma tissues were harvested and total RNA was isolated for 3’mRNA-Seq analysis. Transcriptomes of B16F1 melanomas from a cohort of ACT-treated mice (n=6) was compared to a cohort of untreated mice (n=4). Differential gene expression analyses confirmed high expression of immune cell markers genes and chemokines together with inflammatory pathway activation in ACT-treated melanomas.
