Wax Lake Delta DEMs 2009 and 2013

This is the digital elevation model (DEM) of Wax Lake Delta (WLD), LA, from 2009 and 2013. The original point clouds can be found at http://opentopo.sdsc.edu/dataSearch?search=Wax Lake DeltaThe 2009 survey was conducted on January 01, 2009.The 2013 survey was conducted on February 13-14, 2013.Using only the data on the islands of WLD, I removed trees and low vegetation, registered the two datasets, and differenced them using CloudCompare. After differencing, the data were gridded. Here, I store the elevations from 2009 (z09_islands) and 2013 (z13_islands) surveys of the delta's islands, along with the differences in elevations (dz_islands) between the 2009 elevations and the 2013 registered elevation (z13_reg_islands) and a spatially variable estimate of the error for the differencing procedure (err_islands).For details on the data processing, see the ReadMe or Wagner et al.
