Twenty four BAC clones representing Hga locus on chromosome arm 3DS were sequenced using 454 pyrosequencing. The clones were selected from 3DS-specific BAC library (TaaCsp3DShA). Shotgun libraries for individual clones were prepared separately. In addition, 3-kb and 8-kb mate-pair libraries were prepared for a pooled sample representing all 24 BAC clones.
