资源简介:
This dataset provides path loss values for a virtual Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) link established via a Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) mounted on a drone flying at a fixed height of 50 meters, with the RIS surface oriented perpendicularly to the ground. Two isotropic transmitters are positioned at coordinates (x, y, z): (100, 100, 0) and (100, 300, 0).
The RIS-equipped drone's position is varied horizontally within the xy-boundaries [0, 350] × [0, 350], sampled with a resolution of 200 points per axis.
At each drone position, two path loss values are recorded:
With the RIS in its default orientation — edges aligned with the area boundaries, surface facing downward.
After rotating the RIS surface horizontally to the angle that maximizes the path loss between the two nodes, following the approach described in the referenced paper (DOI: 10.15199/59.2024.4.80).
The dataset demonstrates the significant effect of RIS orientation on path loss, emphasizing its potential in interference cancellation strategies.
