Dataset of Clinical and Radiographic Outcomes of Trochanteric Femur Fractures Treated with the Oblique Locking Hip Screw

This dataset accompanies the study “Clinical outcome of the Oblique Locking Hip Screw.” It includes anonymized data of 115 patients with trochanteric femur fractures treated using the Oblique Locking Hip Screw (OLHS) or Cephalomedullary Nail (CMN). Variables cover demographics, intraoperative parameters, and fracture classifications (AO, Nakano 3DCT, Tang), as well as radiographic assessments (Utsunomiya, Ikuta, Baumgartner, Chang), TAD>25mm, telescoping, and clinical outcomes (bone union, complications, mortality <1m and <3m). Data were collected retrospectively at Shin-yurigaoka General Hospital, Japan (IRB No. 2024-12-1, approved December 2, 2024) in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Provided as CSV (UTF-8, single header row) for use with R/Python/SPSS.
