Climatological precipitation

Average of the Daily Precipitation on the Tuscany Region referring to the climate period 1995-2014. It concerns the periods decade, month, season, year. These data derive from the regular grid at 1km of the daily precipitation over the Tuscany Region obtained by spatializing the daily precipitation measured by the available weather stations. The sources of the punctual data are the Hydrological Sector of the Tuscany Region, Aeronautica Militare, Consorzio LaMMA. The algorithm used to perform spatialization is a modification of the one proposed by Thornton et al., "Generating surfaces of daily meteorological variables over large regions of complex terrain."
