Parameters of insulin action and secretion in ZLR and ZFR groups.

SI (10-4 dL·kg-1·min-1 /(μU·mL-1)), whole-body insulin sensitivity; Φ1((pmol/L C-peptide)/(mmol/L glucose)), first-phase responsiveness index; Φ2 (10-1 min-2·(pmol/L C-peptide)/(mmol/L glucose)), second-phase responsiveness index; Φss (min-1·(pmol/L C-peptide)/(mmol/L glucose)), steady-state responsiveness index. All the parameters and indexes were estimated or computed by CPMM and IVGTT, except for SI, which was estimated by GKMM and IVGTT.
