资源简介:
The slow loris (Nycticebus coucang) belongs to a group of nocturnal strepsirrhine primates that make up the genus Nycticebus. They are found in Southeast Asia and bordering areas, ranging from Bangladesh and Northeast India in the west to the Sulu Archipelago in the Philippines in the east, and from Yunnan province in China in the north to the island of Java in the south. This sample is from a male born in the San Diego Zoo, California USA. The sample was procured by Oliver Ryder and used to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome assembly were conducted at the Vertebrate Genomes Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Olivier Fedrigo and Erich D. Jarvis.
