Nemabiome analysis on Old-World-Camel samples from Germany

On Old-World-Camel farms, faecal egg count reduction tests were performed. Eggs were obtained before treatment or after treatment with different anthelmintics were subjected to PCRs targeting the internal transcribed spacer 2 of strongyle nematodes and subjected to deep amplicon sequencing. Species were identified using the nemabiome database.
