ZY112 is a Gram-negative, rod shaped, and anaerobic bacterium isolated from Grateloupia sp. (a species of red algae) which was from a coastal reef in Weihai, China Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that strain ZY112 belongs to a genus called Agaribacterium. Here, we reported the complete genome of this strain; the genome is 4,280,525 bp in size, has a GC content of 44.56% and contains 3744 predicted genes.
