Dog breast cancer cells were infected at a multiplicity of infection of 5 for 6 houurs or mock-infected (Control) for 6 hours prior to analyses by single-cell RNA sequencing. The objective was to study the distribution of host cell and viral gene expression on the cancer cell population and to compare the effect of viral infection on these cells. Uninfected and infected cells were processed independently and single cell RNAseq profiling was performed using the 10x Genomics single-cell 3' V2 chemistry.
