The data was obtained by analising the oscilloscope traces using the digital signal processing algorithms . The data contains Sensitivity and Power Budget numbers for a PON system in line with International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) standard requirements. For power budget the bit error rate threshold is taken at pre-FEC error rate of 10^-2. Only processed data is included due to the large size of the oscilloscope trace collection
