The research aims to study the impact of IWS on the microbiological and physico-chemical characteristics of drinking water. Results bring new understanding regarding the impact of IWS on DWDS microbiome and water quality. The findings indicate that by minimising IWS times, water quality and safety impacts can be reduced.
