This dataset is developed based on Landsat 4, 5, 7, and 8 remote sensing imagery, combined with the HydroLAKES dataset. It monitored the algal bloom outbreak frequency and area of 21,878 lakes worldwide, and generated complete and reliable global spatiotemporal distribution data of lake algal blooms. The dataset includes one Excel spreadsheet file containing information such as the longitude and latitude coordinates of the lakes.
