Manspeizer-Karnieli: Ecological Informatics - REML/Plagioclimax/Mediterranean

This database accompanies the article, "Balancing signature variance between local and global minima/maxima: Restricted maximum likelihood (REML) and the search for plagioclimax" forthcoming in Ecological Informatics journal. The database will enable the user to learn to identify plagioclimax sub-regionally from existing land-cover (LC) data through signature extension. The database is comprised of data developed for the Judean foothill region of Israel in the Ceratonieto-Pistacietum lentisci typicum judaicum (CPLTA-J) vegetation sub-association.
