Comparative study on liver transcriptome of high and low altitude bar-headed geese

Comparing high-altitude bar-headed geese (HA group, n = 3, labeled as HA_L1, HA_L2, HA_L3) and the low-altitude artificially reared bar-headed geese (LA group, n = 3, labeled as LA_L1, LA_L2, LA_L3) provides an opportunity to investigate of gene expression and regulation related to their acclimation to the relatively hyperoxic environments. In this context, we used Illumina NovaSeq 6000 to generate a transcriptome dataset of liver tissues in bar-headed geese reared in both high-altitude and low-altitude conditions.
