资源简介:
Title: Global Projections of Ion Fluxes from Rock Chemical Weathering (ICWR) under Future Climate Scenarios (1980-2100)
Description:
This dataset contains global-scale, spatially explicit projections of Ion Fluxes from Chemical Weathering of Rocks (ICWR) and associated environmental drivers, spanning from 1980 to 2100. The data were generated to quantify the response of Earth's critical weathering process to future climate change and to elucidate the associated feedback mechanisms within the global carbon cycle.
The projections are based on the Lechuga-Crespo global chemical weathering model, which was forced by a suite of climate input data derived from the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SSP5-8.5). This allows for the analysis of multi-emission scenarios, from sustainable development to fossil-fueled development.
The dataset includes, but is not limited to, the following key variables:
Annual total ion fluxes (ICWR) and fluxes for specific major ions (Alkalinity, SO42- , Ca2+, Na+, Cl- , Mg2+ and K+ ).
Key controlling climatic factors such as temperature, runoff, and precipitation.
