This is the database used by MAGpurify to identify potential contaminants in metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs). It includes:
BLAST databases for the human (GRCh37) and PhiX genomes. Used to identify contigs that come from these two common sources of contamination.
A database of phylogenetic marker genes from the PhyEco database. Used to identify taxonomically discordant contigs.
A database of clade-specific markers from the MetaPhlAn v2.0 database. Used to identify taxonomically discordant contigs.
