The risk of in-patient admission and utilization of rehabilitative services by children with neurological impairments in rural Kenya.

We followed up children with epilepsy, and impairments in hearing, vision, motor and cognitive functions, and age-matched controls, to determine the risk of hospitalization in a local hospital between 2015-2019. We also assessed secondary data from the occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and orthopaedic therapy departments to describe rehabilitative care for these children.
