Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) signaling is a key regulator of embryonic development and tissue homeostasis, and is involved in gastrointestinal (GI) cancer progression. Here we show that SHH gene expression is down-regulated by chemotherapy drugs. Human CRC cell line HT29 was treated with 100uM 5FU for 2h and total RNA was extracted and subject to sequencing. Untreated HT29 cells were used as control.
