Consumption of natural, agricultural and forestry areas from 1 January 2009 to 1 January 2023

This dataset presents the indicators of consumption of spaces produced for the National Portal of Artificialization from Land Files, at the municipal level. The consumption of natural, agricultural and forestry areas (ENAF) is understood as ‘the creation or effective extension of urbanised areas in the territory concerned’ (Article 194 of the Climate and Resilience Law). At the national level, it is measured by land files, reprocessed by Cerema on behalf of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion. The data produced annually is disseminated in opendata. This data is distributed to a municipal grid, with an annual time step, for the period 2009-2023 (from 1 January 2009 to 1 January 2023).
