The study goal is to understand molecular mechanisms of nutritropism in rice plant roots. Nutritropsim is a positive root tropism stimulated with nutrient gradients, and ammonium gradient cause nutritropism in rice. To investigate the transcriptome regulations of rice root tips for bending toward ammonium sources, transcriptome data inside and outside tissues of rice root tips showing nutritropic bending were obtained by RNAseq coupled with laser micro-dissection.
