In order to study the association between the composition and molecular mechanism of and floral fragrance in Chimonanthus praecox (wintersweet), and to find the transcription factors that co-regulate the synthesis of floral fragrance and flower color. We selected a concolor wintersweet genotype and a patens wintersweet genotype. The transcriptomes of the flowers at different stages of flower development were determined.
