This dataset were from a field experiment to examine the effects of soil clay content and necromass chemistry on necromass persistence. The experiment was designed consisted of nine treatments: either (a) with 13C15N-labelled bacterial necromass, (b) 13C15N-labelled fungal necromass, or (c) without necromass (controls had water-only); each of which were applied to soils of three clay contents (low, medium, and high). There are four items: the first is the R code , the second is data, the third is bacterial sequencing data, and the last is fungi sequencing data.
