Over the past decade, antibiotic resistance has become a growing concern for the general public. It has attracted increased scientific interest, as experimental, epidemiological, and molecular data show a link between the use of antibiotics and the emergence of resistant bacterial strains in animals and their subsequent spread to humans, including through the food chain and the environment, posing a real threat to public health.The work carried out in this direction remains modest and insufficient to establish decisive measures or define precautions for using antibiotics in the poultry sector.This work consists of determining the prevalence and resistance to the various antibiotics used in the poultry sector, of Escherichia coli strains isolated from broilers in different regions of Morocco, carrying out DNA sequencing and genomes of all the strains isolated, and determining the genes responsible for resistance.
