The overview shows all persons in education in the canton of Thurgau from the school year 2007/2008, on the one hand by school level (kindergarten level, primary school, upper secondary level I and II, tertiary level), on the other hand by school types as well as by gender, nationality (Switzerland vs. abroad), by form of sponsorship and funding (public vs. private). Not included are students of the non-cantonal universities and from 2018 students of the University of Education Thurgau (because these data are no longer available in the corresponding details). The school location principle applies – people who attend a school within the canton of Thurgau are counted. on 15 September each
