Czech Republic Forest Above-Ground Biomass Carbon Stock 2023

This dataset provides a 20 m resolution raster dataset of forest above-ground biomass carbon stock for the Czech Republic, representing forest conditions during the 2023 growing season. The dataset was derived from the companion forest above-ground biomass (AGB) raster dataset available at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19627063 by applying a carbon fraction of 0.5, i.e. C = AGB × 0.5. Pixel values represent above-ground biomass carbon stock expressed in Mg C·ha⁻¹. The source AGB dataset was produced using a reproducible Earth observation workflow based on Sentinel-1 SAR and Sentinel-2 multispectral data, with modelling implemented externally in Python. The dataset is intended for large-area spatial analysis, forest carbon assessment, forest monitoring, and comparison with national and international biomass and carbon products.
