The database provides information on the policies for families in the UK which have existed since 1997. The database includes data on the structure, functioning, eligibility criteria and legislative basis of cash and tax allowance policies, leave and pay policies and childcare policies. The database is the first of its kind to provide such extensive and detailed information on family policies in the UK and it can be of use for researchers and policy makers alike.
