Stenotrophomonas maltophilia CYZ transcriptome

Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is a Gram-negative, motile, and rod-shaped bacterium that has emerged as an important multidrug-resistant pathogen responsible for many types of clinical infections. The antimicrobial resistance mechanisms of this pathogen are very complicated, and the two-component system (TCS) is regarded as playing a crucial role in the regulation of multidrug resistance. Furthermore, it also has been reported tha the TCS regulated other biologcal functions in S. maltophilia. We compared the transcriptional changes of all genes of S. maltophilia CYZ after the deletion and overexpression of smaSR genes through transcriptome sequencing analysis.
