Genome-based characterization of methicillin-resistant staphylococci (MRS) isolated from retail market fishes

Given that molecular characteristics of methicillin-resistant staphylococci (MRS) from fishery environment is poorly understood, the present study was focused on determining resistomes, virulomes, and molecular epidemiology of MRS. As far as One Health is concerned, the present is of great importance as it addresses the heterogeneity of MRS isolates especially from fishery environement.
