Metabarcoding data of foliar fungal communities associated with 84 woody species planted in the Arboretum des Barres.

Metabarcoding data describing the foliar fungal communities of 84 woody plant species planted at the Arboretum des Barres (Nogent-sur-Vernisson, France). The sequences result from amplification of the fungal ITS1 region with the ITS1F-ITS2 primer pair and unidirectional sequencing of the amplicons on two runs of a Roche GS Junior platform. The data include 90 samples: 88 environmental samples (i.e. leaf samples), one technical replicate (Fagus sylvatica leaf sample sequenced independently on both runs) and one negative extraction control (SUB11018747). The 88 environmental samples correspond to the 84 plant species sampled at the Arboretum des Barres and to 4 species sampled simultaneously in the INRAE research station of Pierroton (Cestas, France).
