Oil palm is the most productive oil-producing plant. So far oil palm could only live in tropical areas. Cold stress leads to growth damage and a decrease in the yield of oil palm. However, little is known about the physiological responses of oil palms to cold stress and their underlying mechanisms. RNA-Seq for leaf samples from young palms was challenged under cold (16C), tropical greenhouse (28-35C), and in the field (25-32C)
