OpenStudio Baseline and Retrofit Scenario Models and EPW Weather File for the EnergyPlus-Based Assessment of a Naturally Ventilated School Building in Sylhet, Bangladesh

This dataset includes the baseline and retrofit OpenStudio (.osm) models and the EnergyPlus weather (.epw) file used for the operational energy and carbon assessment of a naturally ventilated seven-story government school building in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The building is located at Latitude: 24°52'30.79"N and Longitude: 91°53'40.87"E. The baseline model represents the existing building condition, while the retrofit models incorporate selected energy-efficiency measures for comparative simulation. The files were developed using OpenStudio and simulated in EnergyPlus to evaluate annual energy consumption and operational carbon emissions under the hot-humid tropical climate of Sylhet (ASHRAE Climate Zone 1A).
