All bills presented with respect to an insolvent estate by persons other than trustees such as barristers and solicitors, auctioneers or brokers had to be passed and taxed by the Chief Clerk of the Court (S27 Insolvency Act 1897). Scales of tax were set by the Schedules to the Insolvency Act 1897.The P1 consignment of VPRS 12471 was previously registered as VPRS 10551 unit 2. It was reserialised in 2001 as part of the ARAD Project.
