The Fold Prediction Dataset for RAGProtein is a dataset for protein fold class prediction task, which assigns protein sequences to one of the 1,195 known folds. The dataset is primarily used to identify novel remote homologs among proteins of interest, such as emerging antibiotic-resistant genes and industrial enzymes. It includes protein sequence strings and integer labels indicating the known fold to which a protein sequence belongs. The dataset is split into training, validation, and test sets, and is built based on the SCOP 1.75 database.
