This archive contains the data used to produce the figures in the paper "Jupiter's UV auroral response to a magnetospheric compression event" (doi: XXX). The data used to produce Figure 1 are contained in HDF5 format in "fig1.hdf5". All units are as shown in the paper. The trajectory of the Juno spacecraft in 2016 (dashed black line) is saved in "trajectory_2016" and the trajectory of the Juno spacecraft in 2022 (solid black line) is saved in "trajectory_2022" . These arrays each have three columns, corresponding to the x, y and z position. The data used to plot the red magnetospheric model in Figure 1(a) are saved in "red_model_xy" and the data used to plot the red magnetospheric model in Figure 1(b) are saved in "red_model_yz". These arrays each have two columns, corresponding to the x and y positions, and y and z positions, respectively. "blue model_xy" and "blue_model_yz" provide the equivalent data for the blue magnetospheric models in Figure 1(a) and Figure 1(b). The data used to produce Figure 2 are contained in HDF5 format in "fig2.hdf5". All units are as shown in the paper. The two-dimensional data used to plot Figure 2(a) are saved in "ion_flux", the x-axis values are saved in "ion_flux_time" and the y-axis values are saved in "ion_flux_energy". The two-dimensional data used to plot Figure 2(b) are saved in "plasma_waves", the x-axis values are saved in "plasma_waves_time" and the y-axis values are saved in "plasma_waves_frequency". The data used to plot Figure 2(c) are saved in "compression_strength_time" (x axis) and "compression_strength" (y axis). The data used to plot Figure 2(d) are saved in "solar_wind_time" (x axis) and "solar_wind" (y axis). The data used to plot Figure 2(e) are saved in "bkom_intensity_time" (x axis) and "bkom_intensity" (y axis). The data used to plot Figure 2(f) and Figure 2(g) are saved in "uv_auroral_power_time" (x axis), "uv_auroral_power" (y axis) and "uv_auroral_power_noise" (noise along the y axis).
