资源简介:
This collection consists of images, spreadsheets, reports and site record data from archaeological evaluations and a geophysical survey by Headland Archaeology Ltd. Work related to the Viking Link project in the Lincolnshire fens from 2016 to 2020. A geophysical (magnetometer) survey was conducted from August 2016 to January 2017 on the proposed converter site at North Ing Drove, South Holland. The survey consisted of two 40-hectare sites, as part of the site selection process. The subsequent evaluation comprised of 16 trial trenches which cover the proposed converter station site from January 2017 to April 2017. The principal aim of the evaluation was to determine the actual level of below ground archaeology within the proposed converter station site. The trial trenching and mitigation excavations relating to the construction of an electricity interconnector between Revsing, Denmark and Bicker Fen, Lincolnshire took place from June to November 2020.
