Methods to compare eDNA metabarcoding sequence data from eDNA samples collected autonomously onboard a long range autonomous underwater vehicle to eDNA samples collected manually on board a research vessel. In this study 4 primer set were used, 16S, 18S, 12S, and CO1. Samples were collected in 2018 in Monterey Bay, California.
