Poiseuille flow dataset

资源简介:
Poiseuille flow refers to the flow of a liquid through a pipe with a fixed pressure difference applied across it. The current dataset considers a diameter-based Reynolds number of 50, thus in the laminar flow regime. This makes it a special case of the Navier-Stokes equations in which the flow is steady and no turbulence model needs to be applied. The governing equations have been solved using MARIN's in-house CFD code, ReFRESCO, on a range of numerical grids - these have been structured and unstructured and with varying cell counts. Pressure correction equation matrices have been exported from the solver for the different grids at various stages of the solver convergence, leading to the creation of the dataset.
